Weekend Report 2007/06/18
June 18, 2007Happy Father’s Day!
We had a great service this weekend. A lot of energy, especially during worship, which really excites me!
Our Power Point was, “God is a Father who never fails!”. We talked about how Dad’s aren’t always perfect… but God is! Our Scripture Memory Verse was, “Don’t be afraid, because God is with you. He will never leave or forget you! – Dude-A-Ronomy 31:6″.
It’s great to see the kids falling into the swing of things, knowing what to expect and participating. We will also be enhancing the KidZone staff in the coming weeks, once we are able to get some administrative stuff and training taken care of… that and our backordered curriculum!
Oh yeah, and thanks again to Raina LeGrand for her artwork contributions to KidZone! Ask the kids why Albert was not looking to happy while waiting to see his favorite christian band, “Griddle”. I guess you could say waiting on his father was a little “sickening”.
Ahhh… The saga continues! Stay tuned for next week!
